Our standard of installation is high and all of the agreed requirements will be met. After the installation has been completed our technician will clean the areas which he has worked in and leave in the order which they were found.

Q – My window is short but very wide, would it still be possible to fit shutters?
A - A track system can be installed for larger applications such as doorways or windows where they have a far greater width over height. This is available for all materials.

Q – Is there a warranty?
A – Yes, if there is a manufacturer flaw identified during installation the replacement panels will be reordered immediately at no cost to you.
Colourfastness is warrantied for 3 years.

Q - Can I fit shutters myself?
A – Yes if you are competent at DIY you will be able to fit your shutters. However, Vision Interior Shutters will accept no responsibility for damage caused through modifications or incorrect fitting.

Q - How many panels will there be across my window?
A - Within some restrictions the choice is yours. The Minimum panel width is 200mm, Maximum warrantied panel width is 550mm, therefore as an example a 1000mm window could have 2,3 or 4 panels.

Q - Does it cost more to have more panels?
A - No, the price is based on the overall area of the opening to be covered.

Q - Can shutters be fitted to any window or door?
A – In short yes. However, in some cases the mounting options may be limited. Any compromise would be informed and discussed at survey allowing you to make an informed decision.

Q – Do my shutters require any maintenance?
A – Only cleaning required.

Q – How do I clean my shutters?
A – Usually a duster is adequate. For any more stubborn marks use warm soapy water and a damp cloth.

Q – How long will it take for my shutters to be delivered and installed?
A – The usual lead time is 6/8 weeks from receipt of deposit.

Q - What if my windows aren’t square?
A – It is very rare to find a perfectly square window. There is a tolerance allowed to enable the technician to compensate for any irregularities.
